The Ministry of Transport announced the suspension of work at 13 airports in southern Russia due to the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack.

Due to the drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) hitting the administrative building of the Air Navigation, the operation of 13 airports in southern Russia has been suspended. This was announced on May 8 by the press service of the Ministry of Transport of Russia.

"The work of the regional center in Rostov-on-Don, which manages air traffic in Southern Russia, has been temporarily adjusted due to the Ukrainian UAVs hitting the administrative building of the Aeronavigation of Southern Russia branch," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.

It is specified that the staff of the Aeronavigation of the South of Russia branch is safe. An analysis of the equipment's operability is currently underway.
