Veterans of the Great Patriotic War were congratulated on the march in Naro-Fominsk

On the eve of Victory Day in Naro-Fominsk, a solemn greeting ceremony was held for veterans of the Great Patriotic War. On May 7, veterans Nikolai Egorovich Loginov, Viktor Andreevich Blagov and Fedor Fedorovich Rykhlov received warm words and musical gifts.

The artists of the local Palace of Culture performed for the veterans — songs of the war years were performed. Military personnel marched in front of the veterans, and young representatives of the Unarmia presented bouquets of flowers to the heroes. Representatives of the local administration also expressed their gratitude.

"Traditionally, on the eve of the Great Holiday, Victory Day, the administration of the Naro-Fominsk City District, together with the Naro-Fominsk and Alabinsk military garrisons, conducts congratulations on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation [Vladimir Putin], Governor of the Moscow Region Andrey Vorobyov," said Roman Shamanev, head of the district.

Nikolai Egorovich Loginov went to the front in 1942, joining the active army. He became the son of a regiment. He celebrated the victory on May 9, 1945 in the Yugoslav city of Novosad.

Viktor Andreevich Blagov was also the son of a regiment during the war. He fought in the 5th Army, fought all over Poland, then fought in Germany, where he was wounded in the leg and discharged.

Fyodor Fyodorovich Rykhlov was drafted into the army in November 1943. After graduating from the Kiev Tank School, he was sent to the Trans-Baikal Military District, where he participated in combat operations against militaristic Japan.

On the same day in Donetsk, artists of the front-line creative brigade of the song and Dance ensemble of the Central Military District congratulated veterans of the Great Patriotic War on the eve of the 81st anniversary of Victory. Military musicians visited veterans at home, organizing festive mini-concerts. The program includes famous works of the war years, including the song "Katyusha".
