The expert named the conditions for bloggers to receive pensions in excess of 43 thousand rubles.

The maximum pension for bloggers can exceed 43 thousand rubles, subject to regular insurance contributions for 25 years. This was announced on May 6 by Alexander Safonov, a professor at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.

"The maximum contribution amount in 2026 is 572,204 rubles. It allows you to create one year of service experience and an 8.72 PKI (individual pension coefficient). Thus, in 25 years it will be possible to form 218 IPCs, as a result of which the pension amount will amount to 43,758 rubles," Safonov explained in an interview with TASS.

The expert noted that most bloggers work as individual entrepreneurs or self-employed, as their earnings are generated through advertising and sales. The self-employment regime does not oblige you to make contributions to the Social Fund of Russia (SFR), but bloggers can voluntarily pay contributions to influence the amount of future payments. In the absence of insurance experience and points, they are entitled only to a social pension, the amount of which is set at 9.4 thousand rubles in Russia from April 1, 2026, the agency's interlocutor explained.

According to him, the minimum contribution in 2026 is about 71.5 thousand rubles, which gives one year of service and 1.09 pension coefficient.

"If a blogger contributes this amount annually for 25 years, then his pension will amount to 13.8 thousand rubles, if for 15 years — a little more than 12 thousand rubles," Safonov said.

If the maximum contributions are paid in the amount of 572.2 thousand rubles annually, the payment will amount to a little more than 30 thousand rubles over 15 years of service, the professor added. Safonov also recalled that some of the content creators are part-timers and form the length of service in their main job under an employment contract.
