Temporary blocking of the mobile Internet in Moscow has been completed, access has been restored. This was announced on May 5 by the Ministry of Finance of Russia.

"Temporary blocking of the mobile Internet for security reasons in Moscow has been completed, operators are restoring access to Internet resources," the department wrote in the Maks messenger channel.

It is noted that point lockdowns were introduced in case of security threats, including from drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The home Internet and Wi-Fi networks continue to operate normally.

"In case of repeated restrictions for security reasons, telecom operators will warn subscribers in advance," the ministry stressed.
