Russians have become more likely to buy used electric cars

In the first quarter of 2026, Russian residents purchased 3,112 used electric vehicles. This figure turned out to be 23% more than in the first quarter of last year, the analytical agency Autostat reported on May 4.

Nissan continues to lead the brand in the secondary market with a score of 654 electric vehicles, the brand accounted for more than 20% of the total market.

In second place is the Chinese brand Zeekr (572 units). The top five were rounded out by Audi (337 units) and Volkswagen (294 units), as well as Tesla (292 units). All five brands own almost 70% of the used electric vehicle market.

Among the models, the Nissan Leaf retains the lead, with a result of 599 copies sold in three months. The three most popular models were supplemented by the Zeekr 001 (390 units) and Audi Q2 (287 units).
