Health Minister Mikhail Murashko said that following the principles of a healthy lifestyle can significantly increase a person's life expectancy. He said this on May 4 in an interview with Sergey Stillavin for the news agency Vesti.

According to the minister, proper habits and health care can add at least 10-15% to a person's life.

"Today, medicine is very actively helping in this," Murashko said.

He stressed that the lack of attention to health leads to the fact that a significant part of the last years of life can be accompanied by chronic diseases and a decrease in the quality of life.

The Minister drew attention to the importance of life goals and aspirations, noting that they help to maintain a person's activity and psychological tone.

Ekaterina Terentyeva, head of the Invitro Medical Examination Department, said on April 23 that liquid chlorophyll, which has become a popular healthy lifestyle trend, does not yet have sufficient evidence base for widespread use. According to the expert, existing scientific work on the water—soluble analog of chlorophyll, chlorophyllin, is limited to small samples or experiments on animals and cell lines.
