In Primorye, a fourth-class fire danger was declared in the forests.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, May 5 and 6, the fourth class of fire danger is expected in 16 districts of Primorsky Krai in terms of weather conditions. This was announced on May 4 by Primhydromet in its channel in the Maks messenger.
"There is a high class of fire danger in forests. In the period of May 5-6, the fourth (high) class of fire hazard in weather conditions is expected in a significant territory of Primorsky Krai," the ministry said in a statement.
It is specified that a high fire hazard class is predicted in the territory of 16 districts of the region. Experts note that in such conditions, the likelihood of wildfires occurring and spreading rapidly increases dramatically. Residents of the region are asked to observe safety measures: do not make bonfires, do not burn dry grass and garbage, and do not leave unopened cigarette butts.
On April 23, Turgunboy Zokirov, an assistant at the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure at Kutafin State Law University, said that the amount of the fine for the release of smoldering coals in green areas could amount to 50 thousand rubles. In situations of violation of fire safety requirements in forests and minor injury to health, an administrative fine can reach up to 60 thousand rubles, and with more severe consequences, a Russian citizen may be prosecuted.
