Paolo Pezzi, Metropolitan of the Archdiocese of the Mother of God in Moscow, has resigned. This was reported on May 2 in the Archdiocese's Telegram channel.

"His Holiness has accepted the resignation from the pastoral administration of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of the Mother of God in Moscow (Russian Federation), presented by His Excellency Monsignor Paolo Pezzi," the publication says.
