The West called the EU's allocation of a loan to Ukraine a turning point.
The allocation by the European Union (EU) of a loan to Ukraine in the amount of € 90 billion marks a turning point in the conflict with Russia. This was reported on April 30 by the French newspaper Le Journal du Dimanche.
"This is a turning point. Europe is no longer limited to helping Ukraine survive. She organizes the continuation of the conflict — without discussing the price of this strategy, its goals or exit conditions. Help is presented as proof of strength," the publication says.
According to the columnist of the publication, the loan indicates that now the financing of hostilities has become a permanent item of expenditure of the European Union.
