Archaeologist Butyagin wrote a book about Ancient Greece in a Polish prison
Archaeologist Alexander Butyagin, while in a Polish prison, wrote short stories, poems and even books. He told about it on April 30 in the Izvestia studio.
"I had a long-standing dream to write a book.<...> And so I started writing and wrote 40 pages. There were a couple of chapters left to finish, because they required factual material that I didn't have with me. Then I started and finished the entire book "Ancient Greece in 50 subjects," Butyagin said.
In addition, he began working on a book about Rome, wrote eight short stories and many poems. The archaeologist noted that he drew information for the texts from his own memory.
He confessed that he had saved and brought with him all the pens written in prison, more than 20 of them.
