Russian traveler Fyodor Konyukhov in the framework of the marathon "Knowledge.On April 29, the First named Sergiev Posad his favorite place, which he would never trade for anything.

"Wherever I am, my biggest, most favorite place is Sergiev Posad, I have a house there, I have four hundred acres of land there," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

Speaking about the unity of the country's peoples, Konyukhov stressed that he had already visited many regions of Russia. He noted that he makes all his expeditions for the sake of his homeland. The traveler added that Russia unites all nationalities without dividing them into large or small, and it is this diversity that he puts into the concept of unity.

On March 3, Konyukhov became the winner of the Znanie Award in the nomination "For his contribution to education in the field of Ecology and tourism." The award was presented to him by Vyacheslav Fetisov, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Ecology, Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, Chairman of the All-Russian Society for Nature Conservation.

At the same time, in November last year, Konyukhov said that success in any business requires a harmonious combination of physical, material, moral and spiritual training. According to him, he teaches this principle to children at his traveling school, where students try different sports, from rock climbing to soccer.
