Boiling oil products were released onto the road from a tank at a burning oil refinery in Tuapse. This was announced on April 28 by Alexey Klushin, head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Krasnodar Territory.

"There was a boiling and release of petroleum products from reservoir No. 3, as a result of which the fuel — oil — spread onto the road, and several cars were damaged. We are currently monitoring [the situation]," Klushin said in a video posted on the Telegram channel of Governor Veniamin Kondratiev.

He clarified that at the moment the situation is under the control of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Kondratiev stressed that every effort must be made to preserve people's lives and health.
