The head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Kurenkov flew to Tuapse to control fire extinguishing at the refinery

The head of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, Alexander Kurenkov, flew to the Krasnodar Territory for personal control of fire extinguishing and elimination of consequences at an oil refinery in Tuapse. This was announced on April 28 by the press service of the department.

Earlier that day, the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory reported that a fire had started at the Tuapse refinery due to falling drone debris. 122 people and 39 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. Residents of nearby houses began to be evacuated. Peskov said that rescuers are taking all measures to eliminate the consequences.
