Russia is proud of the bravery of the Special Military Operation (SVO) fighters who are in the firing line today. This was stated on April 28 by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin during a lecture at the federal educational marathon of the Znanie Society.

"We are proud of the bravery and dedication to the Motherland of those who were or are currently in the firing line. They set a true example of service to the Fatherland," he said.

Mishustin also added that the Russian government will continue to do everything possible to create decent living conditions for military personnel after their return. In particular, we are talking about providing opportunities for their professional self-realization in peacetime.

Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, said on April 24 that the exploits of the participants of the SVO had already entered the history of Russia. According to him, they are fighting neo-Nazism again.

On December 29, 2025, Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a meeting on the development of the situation in the SVR zone, stated that the heroes of the special operation serve as an example of service to the Fatherland. In addition, Putin noted that military personnel who risk their lives daily and show courage and heroism play a crucial role in the success of the Russian Armed Forces in the framework of their military.
