An earthquake of magnitude 6.0 occurred in Mongolia. This was reported on April 26 by China Central Television (CCTV), citing data from the national seismological center.

"The Chinese Seismological Center has officially recorded a magnitude 6.0 earthquake in Mongolia," the report said.

It is noted that the hearth lay at a depth of 15 km. According to the ministry, the echoes of the seismic event were felt in the Chinese city of Urumqi, located in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China.
