Putin promised to visit Altai Territory
On April 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin promised to come to the Altai Territory to work on the region's priorities.
During the conversation, the head of the Kalmansky district of the Altai Territory, Olga Chernolutskaya, noted that the residents of the region have something to be proud of and something to show. She described the local natives as reliable and sincere people, stressing that the region would be very happy to see the president.
"Olga Valeryevna, thank you very much for the invitation. I will definitely come," Putin said at the third All—Russian municipal forum "Small Motherland — the Strength of Russia."
Putin accepted the invitation, adding that he had not visited the region for a long time. The Head of State stressed that there are issues in the Altai Territory that need to be addressed jointly with local authorities. The President promised that the working trip would definitely take place.
On the same day, Putin announced that the urban improvement program would be extended. He also called it extremely important. According to the Russian president, this program will definitely be continued.
