Investigators have opened a criminal case into the deaths of three tourists in Buryatia while climbing in the mountains of Eastern Sayan to Munku-Sardyk Peak. This was announced on April 21 by the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

"A criminal case has been opened into the reported deaths of three tourists who were climbing in the mountains of the Eastern Sayan Mountains to Munku-Sardyk Peak as part of a tour group," the MACH said in a message on its messenger.
