- The Federal Property Management Agency estimated the value of the sale of PJSC Yuzhuralzoloto at 140.4 billion rubles.
The Federal Property Management Agency has completed an assessment of the block of shares and assets of the Yuzhuralzoloto Group of Companies at 140.4 billion rubles and has begun preparations for their sale.
"The total market value of the assets is estimated at 162,020,038,001 rubles," the agency said in a statement on its Telegram channel.
We are talking about 67.2% of the shares of PJSC Yuzhuralzoloto Group of Companies, as well as shares in a number of related companies that were previously transferred to state ownership by decision of the Sovetsky District Court of Chelyabinsk at the request of the Prosecutor General's Office of Russia.
The majority of the estimated assets are a block of shares in YUGK, the package of which has reached over 140 billion rubles. They also included shares in the management company and other assets of the group.
The Federal Property Management Agency has prepared a draft government decree providing for the sale of assets at open competitive auctions. The auction is scheduled for early May 2026. It is noted that the auction will be held in a shortened time frame: participants are given five working days to submit applications and make a deposit, the amount of which will be 20% of the starting price.
YUGK Group is one of the largest gold mining companies in Russia and also includes assets in other industries, including coal mining in the Kemerovo Region.
On October 29, 2025, the Chelyabinsk Regional Court dismissed the appeal filed by the defendants against the decision to seize state ownership of shares and assets of the organization associated with former YUGK shareholder Konstantin Strukov.
On March 16, bailiffs seized the funds of YUGK, the amount of which amounted to 32.1 billion rubles. The arrest was carried out during the enforcement proceedings initiated on March 5, 2026.
At that time, the Moscow Stock Exchange reported that shares of PJSC Yuzhuralzoloto Group of Companies (YUGK) fell after reports of the seizure of funds in the company's accounts. As a result, by 18:40 Moscow time, the shares were falling by 14.73%, but before the news about the shares, they were trading in a slight plus.
