During the week, Russian air defense systems destroyed 1,665 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), as well as Western-made bombs and shells. This was announced on April 17 by the Russian Defense Ministry.
The ministry clarified that during the specified period, 60 guided aerial bombs and nine American multiple rocket launchers of the HIMARS system were shot down. In addition, dozens of other aircraft weapons were targeted.
The ministry also added that the servicemen of the Black Sea Fleet discovered and destroyed five unmanned enemy boats.
