The head of the West Siberian Railway was arrested in the case of a large bribe

Alexander Gritsai, the head of the West Siberian Railway, was arrested for two months in a case of accepting a bribe worth more than 50 million rubles. This was announced on April 17 by the press service of the courts of general jurisdiction of the Novosibirsk region.

"By court order: Gritsai A.V. was given a preventive measure in the form of detention for a period of two months, that is, until June 16, 2026. The resolution has not entered into legal force," the authorities' page on the VKontakte social network says.
