Rostec has created universal ammunition for drones
Rostec State Corporation specialists have created a line of unified combat loads for various unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). New developments make it possible to hit a wide range of targets, from armored vehicles and shelters to artillery systems and drone control points. This was announced on April 16 by the company's press service.
"Today, Rostec State Corporation enterprises are producing a line of high-quality unified serial combat units for drones. In particular, these are multifactorial combat loads that simultaneously affect an object with a cumulative jet, an explosion, and fragments, and can set fire to a target," Rostec's Telegram channel says.
The state corporation noted that such a combined action allows the operator to use drones of the same type to attack almost any target, depending on the combat situation. As a result, this greatly expands the flexibility of the devices.
Specialists have developed separate thermobaric fragmentation munitions for FPV drones. These products are capable of hitting manpower in personal protective equipment within a radius of 10 meters from the detonation point.
The Rostec press service stressed that the new loads are suitable for different types of devices and do not require maintenance or routine maintenance. The products have already been tested in real conditions, where they are used by FPV drones, bomber drones, multicopters and barrage ammunition.
Earlier, on April 1, it became known that military personnel of the engineering units of the Southern Group of Forces of the Russian Army in the field created and launched mass production of a device for remote mine clearance and mining of the territory using drones. The device allows you to accurately lower the explosive charge onto the mine using a servo mounted on the drone.
