Production of the Chinese Jetour T1 crossover may begin in Russia. The model is currently undergoing the certification process and is preparing to enter the assembly line of the Kaliningrad Avtotor plant, the Chinese Cars portal reported on April 15, citing a source familiar with the certification process.

The Jetour T1 is certified in two versions, both in the initial version with a 1.5—liter internal combustion engine and with a more powerful two-liter unit. The drive can be either front—wheel drive or full-wheel drive, in the first case, a robotic transmission is combined with the motor, in the second - an automatic one.

It is noted that in the declaration of conformity required for certification and obtaining an OTC, the crossover is referred to as Votour T10. The publication suggests that the Russian-built model may go on sale under this alternative name.

The Jetour T1 went on sale in Russia in September 2025. The car is available in two trim levels, priced from 3.77 million to 4.2 million rubles, depending on the design and year of manufacture. A two-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 245 hp is installed under the hood, an eight-speed automatic is combined with it, and the drive is full. From January to February 2026, 2.1 thousand T1 crossovers were registered in Russia, according to Autostat Info.

Earlier, on April 10, it was reported that the longest-lasting partnerships of the Kaliningrad Avtotor plant are currently operating with Jetour, BAIC, and SWM brands. The company is also developing a promising project for the production of Changan cars and is preparing for the production of Tank 300 SUVs.
