Russian President Vladimir Putin has appointed Maria Lvova-Belova, Commissioner for Children's Rights, as chairman of the all-Russian public and state organization Children's Protection Fund. The corresponding decree of the head of state was published on April 14.

"Appoint M. A. Lvova-Belova, Commissioner for Children's Rights under the President of the Russian Federation, as chairman of the All-Russian Public and State Organization Children's Protection Fund," the document says.
