On April 9, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that he had agreed with Russian President Vladimir Putin on a high-level meeting in the second half of June this year.

On April 1, Putin noted that the aggravation of internal political processes on the eve of the elections in Armenia should not harm relations between Moscow and Yerevan. Pashinyan, in turn, stressed that the construction and strengthening of relations between the two countries will continue regardless of the outcome of the vote in the republic.
