More than 100,000 Russian teenagers are involved in schemes for renting out accounts in the Telegram messenger, which are then used by fraudulent call centers. This was announced on April 8 by Sergey Kalinin, First Deputy Head of the Department for Combating the Illegal Use of Information and Communication Technologies (UBK) of the Russian Interior Ministry.

"Teenagers massively participate in the scheme of renting accounts. There are about 2.5 thousand such channels in Telegram alone, over 100 thousand guys are involved there," TASS quotes the Interior Ministry representative as saying.
