In Panama City, one person was killed and four others were injured in an explosion and subsequent fire on several fuel trucks. This was announced on April 6 by the press service of the local fire department on Instagram (owned by the Meta organization, recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).

The published footage shows how a fireball and a thick column of smoke formed in the area of the bridge while the cars were moving.

The incident occurred in the La Boca area in the west of the city, near the Las Americas Bridge, located at the Pacific entrance to the Panama Canal. It is noted that the explosion occurred due to the detonation of fuel on a tanker that was traveling across the bridge. Two victims suffered second-degree burns, while another person is considered missing.

The response units that arrived at the scene found three burning tanker trucks, while there was a threat of fire spreading to nearby fuel tanks. At the same time, traffic on the bridge was also suspended.

Much worse: an explosion occurred at one of the largest American refineries.

This is the second incident in two weeks.

The Bild newspaper reported on April 2 that in the city of Siegburg in Germany, 1 2 people were injured in an explosion in a carriage caused by a train passenger. It is noted that the 20-year-old suspect was detained.
