CHP plants and oil facilities damaged in Nizhny Novgorod region after UAV attack
In the Kstovsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod region, thermal power plants and oil facilities were damaged as a result of falling drone debris. This was announced on April 5 by the governor of the region, Gleb Nikitin, in his Telegram channel.
According to him, at night, the air defense forces repelled an attack by 30 unmanned aerial vehicles over the industrial area of the district.
"The Novogorkovskaya thermal power plant and several residential buildings and household plots were damaged," he said.
In addition, two Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez facilities were damaged.
Work is currently underway to restore power supply. Operational services continue to eliminate the consequences of the incident. According to preliminary information, there are no wounded.
