Putin has opened a highway that will allow St. Petersburg to "breathe easier"

Russian President Vladimir Putin took part in the opening of a section of the latitudinal highway in St. Petersburg via video link. This was announced on March 31 on the Kremlin's website.

"It would seem that this is not such a long section, 15 km in total, but it consists of six lanes, and this is a very important urban highway that will allow the city to breathe easier and help people move better," the head of state said.
