The stocks of the EU countries for all types of weapons, including missiles and ammunition, are at an extremely low level. This was stated on March 31 by European Commissioner for Defense Andrius Kubilius in an interview with Breaking Defense.

"Stocks are very low for all types of weapons, including missiles and ammunition," the politician said.

Kubilius added that the Americans produce good weapons, but Europe needs to increase production, since there is not enough of it in the world either for Ukraine or for EU countries.

Military expert, retired Colonel Anatoly Matviychuk said on March 3 that the conflict with Iran forced the United States to redirect some of its weapons from Ukraine to the Middle East, which left the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) without a number of critical systems.
