The director of the film "Wild Love", Willen Novak, has died in Ukraine.

In Ukraine, the director of the film "Wild Love", Willen Novak, died at the age of 89. This was announced on March 29 by the Odessa Film Studio.

"Russian art has suffered an irreparable loss. The outstanding Master of Cinema, director of photography, <...> People's Artist of Ukraine Willen Novak has passed away," the Telegram channel says.

Novak graduated from the Kiev State Institute of Theater Arts named after Karpenko-Kary. He worked as a director of the Odessa Film Studio, and also for about five years held the position of artistic director of the Odessa film Studio of a new model.

He was an Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR and a People's Artist of Ukraine. Novak is known to the Russian audience for the films "Wild Love" and "Princess on Beans".
