Pavel Rozhkov has been re-elected President of the Russian Paralympic Committee.

Honored Coach of Russia Pavel Rozhkov has been re-elected president of the Russian Paralympic Committee (RPC). The decision was made on March 20 at the organization's reporting and election conference.

"Pavel Alekseevich Rozhkov has been elected to the post for the next four—year period," the PKR Telegram channel says.

Rozhkov was elected president of the committee in 2022. Over the years, he also served as Chairman of the Executive Committee and First Vice-President of the RPC.

Mikhail Degtyarev, Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation and head of the Russian Olympic Committee, said on March 20 that Russian Paralympians had confirmed the highest level of the Russian Paralympic school in conditions of restrictions. According to him, the performance of six athletes at the Games in Italy, where they won 12 medals (eight gold) and took the third team place, became "one of the brightest pages" in the history of sports.
