Air defense systems shot down 48 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the regions of Russia

Air defense systems eliminated 48 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) within three hours over the regions of Russia. This was announced on March 1 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"48 Ukrainian aircraft—type UAVs were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the ministry said in a statement on the MAX messenger.

According to the ministry, 27 drones were shot down over the Black Sea, eight over the Belgorod region, five over the Crimea, three over the Sea of Azov, two over the Krasnodar Territory, two over the Kursk Region and one over the Bryansk region.

On the same day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the air defense forces destroyed 84 Ukrainian drones in three hours, 34 of them over the Black Sea. In addition, another 24 UAVs were shot down over the territory of the Republic of Crimea.
