The extremist was detained while leaving the penal colony in Yekaterinburg.
In Yekaterinburg, law enforcement officers detained the extremist immediately after he was released from prison. This was reported on February 27 in the press service of the Main Directorate of the Federal Penitentiary Service (GUFSIN) of Russia in the Sverdlovsk region.
According to the department, four days before his release, a decision was issued against the man to initiate a new criminal case under the article on inciting to terrorist activities.
"After the arrest, the person involved was taken to the investigative unit of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Sverdlovsk region for further procedural actions," the statement said.
