Ardashev covered the 20 km distance in 47 minutes and 29.9 seconds. The second place was taken by Egor Mitroshin, who was only 0.1 seconds behind the leader. Andrey Kuznetsov is on the third line, 0.3 seconds behind the winner. Three-time Olympic champion Alexander Bolshunov rounded out the top five. The Russian Championship in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk will last until March 8.
