It became known about the proposals of foreign mercenaries to surrender the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Foreign mercenaries of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are offering Russian security forces to transfer the coordinates of the AFU positions for a reward. This was reported on February 24 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.

"Some mercenaries are looking for all ways to earn money and offer to surrender the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or even their own for cryptocurrency when they leave the temporary deployment point — there are similar precedents," TASS quoted the security forces as saying.

Mercenaries in the ranks of Ukrainian formations also often come into contact with the Russian side with a request to facilitate their return to their homeland. They seek legal assistance and ask to establish contact with consular offices.

The representative of the law enforcement agencies noted that the number of such appeals is less than from citizens of Ukraine, but there are dozens of cases.
