An earthquake of magnitude 4.6 occurred in Bratislava.
An earthquake of magnitude 4.3 was recorded in Slovakia. This was announced on February 21 by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC).
It is noted that the epicenter was located 29 km from Bratislava with a population of 423 thousand people and 16 km from Mosonmadyarovar in Hungary with a population of 30 thousand inhabitants. The hearth was located at a depth of 13 km.
No casualties or damage have been reported.
On February 14, EMSC reported that an earthquake of magnitude 6.5 occurred in the Republic of Vanuatu. It was clarified that the epicenter of the seismic event was located 59 km east of the city of Port Olry, which has a population of about 1,9 thousand people.
