President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky promised Belarusian oppositionist Svetlana Tikhanovskaya to support fugitive oppositionists. This was reported on February 19 by RIA Novosti, citing a source.
"Zelensky directly assured Tikhanovskaya of his political support and willingness to contribute to the plans of her 'United Transitional Cabinet,'" the source said.
It is noted that the Ukrainian leader made this promise at a bilateral meeting with Tikhanovskaya. It took place at the end of January in Vilnius, according to the Telegram channel of the office of the President of Ukraine.
