Law enforcement officers stopped the illegal activities of a Donetsk resident who publicly called for extremist actions. This was announced on February 17 by the press service of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).

The woman, using the Telegram messenger, repeatedly posted comments in public chats aimed at inciting violence against people singled out based on nationality.

As a result, a criminal case was opened into the incident under Part 2 of Article 280 of the Criminal Code of Russia ("Public calls for extremist activities").

The DPR authorities remind that the enemy actively uses channels and chats in the Telegram messenger for provocations aimed at inciting ethnic hatred and hostility among citizens. It is also noted that the publication of comments on social networks containing calls for violence can lead to criminal liability and fines.

On January 26, the FSB reported that the 2nd Western District Military Court had sentenced two administrators of a channel with extremist appeals. It was noted that they had sent false reports about the mining of civilian infrastructure facilities.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
