MO: The Ukrainian Armed Forces are suffering heavy losses south of Kupyansk-Uzlovoye due to frostbite

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are in a critical situation south of Kupyansk-Uzlovoye in the Kharkiv region. This was announced on February 17 by the Ministry of Defense with reference to the testimonies of prisoners and data from radio intercepts.

"A catastrophic situation has developed in the units of the 1st Special Purpose Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine and the 43rd mechanized brigade, which are blocked on the eastern bank of the Oskol River south of the Kupyansk-Uzlovaya settlement. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are suffering significant sanitary losses due to frostbite and hypothermia," the report says.
