Figure skaters Fournier-Baudry and Cizeron won Olympic gold in ice dancing

French couple Laurence Fournier-Baudry and Guillaume Cizeron won the dance duet competition at the Winter Olympic Games in Italy on February 12. They scored 225.82 points for the total of two rentals.

The second place was taken by Americans Madison Chock and Evan Bates, who scored 224.39 points. The bronze medal was awarded to Canadians Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier with a score of 217.74 points.

Representatives of Georgia, Diana Davis and Gleb Smolkin, who previously played for Russia, took 13th place with a final score of 196.02 points.

On February 10, Russian figure skater Pyotr Gumennik opened the competition in the men's short program at the 2026 Olympics in Italy. He performed in a neutral status to the soundtrack from the film "Onegin" by composer Edgar Hakobyan. According to the results of the competition, the figure skater took 12th place.
