The Novo-Savinovsky District Court of Kazan, at the request of the prosecutor's office, ordered a local resident named Jesus Petrovich Christ to return to his former name. This was reported in court on February 11.

According to RBC, the lawsuit was filed by Kazan prosecutor Ildar Ismagilov. Then the court appealed to the local registry office.
