The Higher Qualification Board of Judges (HCCC) of Russia has submitted to the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation materials concerning the judge of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Court Viktor Fomin due to corruption. This was reported on February 9 in the Supreme Court (SC).
"On behalf of the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Russia, Igor Krasnov, the Higher Qualification Board of Judges <...> sent materials regarding [Fomin] to the Prosecutor General's Office of Russia to file an anti—corruption lawsuit with the subsequent deprivation of judicial status," TASS quoted the text of the statement.
