On February 8, Italian snowboarder Roland Fishnaller performed at the Winter Olympic Games in Italy with the image of the Russian flag on his equipment.

The flags of the USA, Italy, Canada, South Korea and China are also present on his helmet and board. These are the symbols of all the host countries of the Olympics in which the athlete participated. The current Games were his seventh in his career.

In qualifying for the parallel giant slalom, Fishnaller showed the best time — 42.39 seconds, ahead of compatriot Aaron March and Bulgarian Tervel Zamfirov.
