A student of a lyceum in Baku fired a hunting rifle at a teacher. This was reported on January 6 by the Azerbaijani portal Haqqın.az .

"The incident occurred at the Idrak Liseyi educational institution in the Binagadi district of Baku. A 10th grade student opened fire on a teacher," the article says.

According to the newspaper, the teenager brought his father's gun to school, hiding it in a backpack. During the incident, he opened fire on the teacher, who was wounded in the neck. The injured teacher was hospitalized in serious condition.

The police promptly detained the shooter and seized his weapon. The head of the lyceum, Monsum Alyshov, said that the incident occurred due to negligence.

The Bild newspaper reported on January 25 that five people were injured in Berlin as a result of a shooting in an apartment in an apartment building on Wichmannstrasse. It was noted that law enforcement officers probably arrested several suspects. Police officers with machine guns were deployed at the scene.
