The Moscow Arbitration Court has recovered 61.2 billion rubles from Boris Mints, the former co-owner of the Otkritie Group and entrepreneur, his son Dmitry, and Peter Borodin, the former CEO of O1 Group Finance. This became known on February 4 from court materials.

It is noted that the company O1 Group Finance, which was part of the Mints business group, was engaged in attracting financing for development projects through the issuance of securities.
On October 9, 2025, the Prosecutor General's Office approved an indictment in a criminal case in absentia against Mints for embezzlement of more than 34 billion rubles from FC Otkritie bank. It is noted that the sons of the entrepreneur, Dmitry and Alexander, as well as the former chairman of the board of the financial organization, Evgeny Dankevich, are also involved in the criminal case.
The Basmanny Court of Moscow has arrested in absentia the former co-owner of the Otkritie group, entrepreneur Boris Mints, in the case of embezzlement of 34 billion rubles from FC Otkritie Bank in 2020. At the same time, the court arrested the businessman's sons, Dmitry and Alexander, in absentia. It was clarified that he was charged under Part 4 of Article 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Embezzlement or embezzlement").
Mintz was the founder of the investment company O1 Group, which specializes in finance and real estate. In 2018, he transferred control of the Future financial group and the development firm O1 Properties, which were part of the O1 Group, to the Cypriot company Riverstretch Trading & Investments (RT&I).
