The former General Motors plant in Shushary, St. Petersburg, which belongs to the AGR Automotive Group, has been restarted. This was reported by TASS on February 3, citing a source.

It is noted that the site produces Jaecoo J6, J7 and J8 cars (a sub-brand of the Chinese company Chery Automobile).

"The factory in Shushary has just started working. The Jaecoo J6, J7, and J8 models are currently being assembled," the agency's source said, adding that employees are still working in one shift.
