Honorary President of the Russian Football Union (RFU) Vyacheslav Koloskov on February 2 positively assessed the statement of the head of the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) Gianni Infantino about the futility of sanctions against Russian football.

"It's good that he saw the light, but it's one thing to tell reporters, and another thing is if this is really his opinion and he admits that it was a mistake, that they caused damage to world and Russian football in particular, that they are ready to fix it," Koloskov said in a conversation with RIA Novosti.
