A criminal case on violations of traffic safety rules and the operation of air transport was initiated in Orenburg region after the crash of a training aircraft. This was reported on February 2 in the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation.
"The investigative authorities of the Central Interregional Investigative Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of Russia have opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under part 3 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation," the agency said in a message on the Max messenger.
On the same day, it became known about the death of three people in a plane crash in Orsk. It was noted that the incident occurred near the village of Janatalap, and the aircraft, which belongs to the St. Petersburg State University of Civil Aviation, was making a training flight.
