The Tambov Regional Court has placed suspects in the contract killing of the head of the district Department of Internal Affairs (ROVD) under arrest Valeria Juraeva, which happened in 2000. This was announced on February 2 by the joint press service of the city courts.

"On February 2, 2026, the court of appeal upheld the appealed court decisions, finding no grounds for applying a milder preventive measure against each of the suspects," the Telegram channel of the instances says.
