In Russia, economic growth will recover to 1.5% by 2027. This was announced on February 2 by the Analytical Credit Rating Agency (ACRA) in its macroeconomic forecast for 2026-2028.

"Economic growth will recover to 1-1.5% by 2027 after GDP growth of about 0.8% in 2025 and growth in the range of 0.8–1.4% in 2026," RIA Novosti quoted the message as saying.

It is predicted that annual inflation will gradually decrease to a level close to the target within a year and a half, and the key rate of the Bank of Russia will drop to 9-10%.

The agency also predicts low prices for Russian energy exports in 2026, followed by a recovery in the first half of 2027. The ruble exchange rate, according to ACRA estimates, will weaken by 5-10% against world currencies in 2026, remaining volatile throughout the year.

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced during the "Results of the Year" in December last year that Russia's GDP growth had reached almost 10% in three years. He also cited data on leading industries: industrial production increased by 1%, manufacturing — by 3.1%, and agricultural production increased by 3.3%.
